Wedding Talk

click here to view the video

I can't believe my little sister is getting married in less than 2 months! Jason is a very nice guy, and I do approve. Nice kiss at the end of this clip.:) I think you can tell by the video clip that Lisa is a bit nervous about all the wedding details. Doesn't she know her designated wedding planner (me) is on top of everything!

"Cha cha cha" Birthday

click here to view the video

We celebrated my Grandma's March birthday while she visited. I would say this is a unique singing of the Happy Birthday song with the addition of cha cha cha. Notice – David can really sing (for those of you that have heard his rendition of the Chanukah song). Go to this link if you would like to see it. I have a really special Grandma, and I miss her because she moved from Virginia to Wisconsin. :( Grandma knows how to have fun shopping. Because the weather was rainy when Mom, Al, and Grandma visited, we had to do some indoor activities. We went to Antique Memory Lane while she was here, and she bought several beer steins for other people. If you need a shopping buddy, Grandma is happy to go with you. She knows how to have a good time.

Easter 2005 at our house

click here to view the video

We had our first Easter in Christiansburg, VA at our house. I was a little bit nervous because I had to cook for 13 people for my first real dinner! Luckily, I had the expertise of my Mom to help with the cooking. There were no complaints about the food (to my knowledge). :) We had turkey, real stuffing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, salad, cranberries, and pumpkin pie for dessert. My Grandma from Wisconsin came to visit, along with my sister's future in-laws (parents and grandparents). Katie, who attends Virginia Tech, also came for dinner. I would say the dinner was an overall success. We did a great job eating, and everyone seemed to have a good time.

Lisa and Me

Lisa and I have lots of fun together. She is getting married on July 9th of this year and is living in Floyd. I have been her maid of honor aka "slave of honor" over the last 10 months. It's a good thing I have some experience with wedding planning. Lisa is a special education teacher (a very good one). :)

Cute Mallard Picture

This is our spoiled baby Mallard Catalano. Mallard is a German Shorthaired Pointer with a ton of energy. His favorite pastimes include playing ball, swimming, hiking, and watching our fish in the aquarium. Seth and Hayden, our nephew and niece, like to watch the fish with Mallard. Mallard tries to bite the glass of the aquarium to catch the fish (not too smart). We have a 50 gallon acquarium with a Pleco, Frontosa, and several other fish. I think Mallard gets more enjoyment out of the acquarium than we do sometimes.
